Nate and was born in North Yorkshire. Having spent most of his adult life in the south, he finally settled in West Sussex with his wife Julia, and their three wonderful children.
He says that he is ‘regrettably devoid of any Yorkshire accent, having had it forcibly removed through ritual humiliation during a four-year stint at a London media agency’. He now, by his own admission, speaks with ‘a plum so faux I could quite fairly be accused of being the absolute antithesis of the violin virtuoso Nigel Kennedy’.
He despairs that he spent far too many years of varied miserableness within the corporate business sector having only fairly recently escaped a world filled with what he now refers to as ‘the two BS’s, one being back-stabbing—' the other you can work out for yourselves, unless you are too young and will therefore need to ask an adult (our apologies in advance to all ‘asked’ adults).
He thoroughly enjoys what frustratingly little spare time he has for writing, and, as he puts it, 'watching this hapless folly or otherwise come to life’.
FAMILIA ANTE OMNIA
“I read recently that common estimates suggest there are over 2 billion active websites out there in this complex web of the wide world, so it means a great deal to me that you have even visited my humble one. It offers a literary micro-menagerie of my books, aimed at young people of various ages, all of which I hope will offer at worst, a smattering of fun, enjoyment and satisfaction, and at best, a wholly positive and life changing experience. If nothing else, I hope you will feel that your time spent here has not been wasted.
And if you do have the inclination to buy one of the books, then seriously, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Contrary to what you may hear about the likes of Rowling, Walliams et al, none of this makes me very much money at all, and my dream of owning that elusive Lamborghini or Bentley remains a miraculous miracle or lottery win away. But the fact that you would have put some trust in me means more than you can imagine. Oh, and please do let me know what you think, if what you think is kind, or flattering, or both - I would love to hear from you.”

And a few thank you’s…
There are some wonderfully talented people who have helped me produce these sheets of treated pulp, roughly arranged words and various colourings, and I remain forever thankful to them, despite their apparent tendency to issue invoices for such support.
